History
The story is set during the reign of the Pallava dynasty in South India, in the 7th century AD. It revolves around the life of a young prince named Vikraman, who is the son of the Chola king Parthiban. Vikraman falls in love with a beautiful and intelligent girl named Kundhavi, who is the daughter of his father’s sworn enemy, the Pallava king Narasimhavarma. Kundhavi is equally smitten by Vikraman’s charm and intelligence.

Vikraman decides to take matters into his own hands and sets out on a mission to bring about peace between the Pallavas and the Cholas.
